OBJETIVES

The objective of the workshop is to strengthen scientific collaboration between German and Mexican researchers by promoting exchange at multiple levels. During 4 days, principal investigators, postdoctoral fellows, and PhD students from both countries will participate in flash talks, roundtable discussions and cultural exchange activities designed to build both professional and personal networks. These activities aim to identify new avenues for collaboration for PIs, while creating opportunities for young scientists to explore international mobility and funding.

For the German partners, this cooperation provides access to unique research infrastructure and complementary expertise in biomedical materials and vaccine development. It also promotes the synergy between synthetic organic chemistry and vaccine development—an area previously unexplored in the Seibel group. Moreover, the workshop will offer German students valuable exposure to international scientific exchange and reinforce their ability to work effectively within diverse research networks.
